Twin Cities Live – Disney on Ice… Worlds of Fantasy… Ultimate Family Night! Sweepstakes
OFFICIAL RULES
1. HOW TO ENTER: NO PURCHASE NECESSARY.
This is a “watch and win” sweepstakes. Watch Twin Cities Live from Monday, January 28, 2013, through Friday, February 1, 2013, between 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. on KSTP-TV. Each weekday during the broadcast during the promotion period, a Disney® Character will pop up on the screen, then viewers will need to go to http://kstp.upickem.net/engine/Welcome.aspx?contestid=81750, register for your chance to win by submitting that day’s featured “Disney® Character” correctly, and entering your complete name, address, birth date, email address and daytime telephone number. Viewers will have until 7:00 p.m. on the day each “Disney® Character” is featured to go to the website and submit that day’s “Disney® Character.” Twin Cities Live is not responsible for problems completing the entry, technical or atmospheric conditions that disrupt the completion of the entry, or any other problems which might or might not result from this sweepstakes. Limit, one entry per person per “Disney® Character” featured; any person with more than one entry per day may be disqualified at Sponsor’s sole discretion.
2. RANDOM DRAWING: One (1) Grand Prize winner will be selected on or about Monday, February 4, 2013 at the Twin Cities Live Studios by random drawing from among all entries received throughout the promotion period.
3. PRIZE: There will be one (1) Grand Prize winner in this sweepstakes. The winner will receive 4 tickets to “Disney on Ice: Worlds of Fantasy” ($65 each). Tickets valid ONLY for Opening Night, Thursday, February 28th at 7 p.m. and $100 worth of Disney on Ice: Worlds of Fantasy swag. Prize also includes a Meet & Greet w/ a “Disney on Ice: Worlds of Fantasy” character. Value of prize is $360.00. Winner should arrive at 5:30 p.m. for the Meet &Greet, which will take place at approximately 5:45 p.m. Guests will meet “Disney on Ice” escort outside the Target Center Administrative Offices located on the skyway. Sponsor is not responsible in the event the “Disney on Ice: Worlds of Fantasy” is delayed, postponed or cancelled and tickets are subject to the rain check policies as stated on the tickets.
A qualified winner must also meet the eligibility requirements as set forth in Paragraph 5 of these rules. The winner is responsible for paying all applicable income taxes. A 1099 will be submitted to all appropriate taxing authorities, and by signing the Prize Release, each winner accepts the prize, and even if the winner does not use the prize/trip, he/she will be responsible for the applicable taxes.
Odds of winning are dependent on the number of eligible entries received.
4. CLAIMING YOUR PRIZE: The winner must come to the Twin Cities Live Studios, 3415 University Avenue, St. Paul, Minnesota 55114, within five (5) business days from being notified they are a winner to claim his/her prize. Failure to comply with this deadline shall be deemed to be the winner’s forfeiture of his or her right to claim a prize. The winner must present identification acceptable to Twin Cities Live (e.g., state drivers license; state issued identification card; valid passport with address verification; or birth certificate with social security card and photo identification and address verification). If a qualified winner cannot prove he or she is qualified to accept the prize, the prize will not be awarded. Any unclaimed prizes remain the property of Twin Cities Live.
5. ELIGIBILITY: Individuals must be 18 years or older and residents of Minnesota or Wisconsin to be eligible to participate in this sweepstakes. Employees of Hubbard Broadcasting, Inc. and KSTP-TV, LLC (“Sponsor”), Disney On Ice, including their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, parent or related companies, and their immediate families, are not eligible to enter. In order to be eligible to win a prize in this sweepstakes, you cannot have won and accepted any prize from KSTP-TV within 30 days prior to the awarding of a prize to you in this sweepstakes, or won and accepted any prize or combination of prizes with a total stated value of $1,000.00 or more from KSTP-TV within 365 days prior to the awarding of a prize to you in this sweepstakes.
6. RELEASE; CONSENT TO USE LIKENESS, VOICE AND ADDRESS: Each winner must execute an affidavit of eligibility. Each person entering this sweepstakes (a) agrees to release and indemnify Hubbard Broadcasting, Inc., KSTP-TV, LLC, and Disney on Ice (including their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, parent or related companies) from and against any and all liability, claims, damages and actions arising directly or indirectly out of or sustained in connection with the awarding, acceptance or use of the prize(s), and (b) consents to the use by KSTP-TV for promotional purposes only of his/her likeness and/or voice, address (city and state) without any additional compensation. By accepting the prize, the winner and his/her guest agree to be bound by these official rules, including the above release.
7. WINNER LIST: For the name of the winner, send a separate self-addressed, stamped envelope before May 30, 2013, to Winners List, “Disney On Ice… Worlds Of Fantasy… Ultimate Family Night!” Sweepstakes, Twin Cities Live, 3415 University Avenue, St. Paul, Minnesota 55114.
8. MISCELLANEOUS:
Decisions of KSTP-TV concerning any and all matters with respect to this sweepstakes shall be final. KSTP-TV reserves the right to change these rules, as well as the terms and conditions of this sweepstakes, without notice. KSTP-TV reserves the right to change the prize values at any time, or to substitute prizes of comparable value. Sweepstakes void where prohibited or otherwise restricted by law. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable. KSTP-TV is not responsible for printing errors in the sweepstakes materials or these official rules.
