OFFICIAL RULES


1. HOW TO ENTER: NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. In order to enter, from 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 5, 2012, through 11:59:59 p.m. on Monday, June 18, 2012, go to the www.twincitieslive.com website, click on the "TCL's Whirlwind Wedding Logo" on the contest page and complete the entry form, which includes your name, the name of your significant other, address, telephone number, email address, date of birth and a picture of you and your significant other; you must also explain in 250 words or less the story of how you met and in 250 words or less why you deserve to win Twin Cities Live's Whirlwind Wedding. KSTP-TV is not responsible for problems completing the entry, submission of the photograph, technical or atmospheric conditions that disrupt the completion of the entry, or any other problems which might or might not result from this contest. One entry per person/couple. Any person/couple submitting more than one entry, an entry without a photograph attached or an entry that exceeds the word limit may be disqualified.

2. HOW THE WINNER IS CHOSEN: Enter pursuant to Paragraph 1 above. From the entries submitted, a panel of judges comprised of Twin Cities Live staff members, in their sole and absolute discretion, will determine three (3) finalists based on, but not limited to, the story of how they met (49%) and why they say they deserve to win TCL's Whirlwind Wedding (51%). In the event of a tie, the contestant with the highest score in the why they deserve to win TCL's Whirlwind Wedding category will be deemed the winner from among all tying contestants. The three (3) finalists will be selected, then personal couple interviews will be conducted by Twin Cities Live staff between June 19, 2012, and June 22, 2012, to choose the winning couple from among those finalists, and the interviews will be recorded for possible airing on Twin Cities Live on a later date. The winning couple will be notified by Friday afternoon, June 22, 2012, and will be required to appear on Twin Cities live on Monday, June 25, 2012 (must be available to be at the station from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. that day). The winning couple must also be available for the wedding event to be held at Bunker Hills Regional Park on Friday, August 3, 2012; the wedding will be televised live during Twin Cities Live. The winning couple will be responsible for obtaining the marriage license.

3. CLAIMING YOUR PRIZE: The winning couple will be asked to stop by the KSTP-TV Studios, 3415 University Avenue, St. Paul, Minnesota, during normal business hours (Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) on June 25, 2012, to claim their prize. When claiming a prize at the KSTP-TV Studios, the winning couple must prove they are the qualified winners by presenting identification acceptable to the sponsors (e.g., state drivers license; state issued identification card; valid passport with address verification; or birth certificate with social security card and photo identification and address verification). If the winner cannot prove he/she is the qualified winner or does not come to claim his/her prize on June 25, 2012, another winner will be chosen by the panel of judges.

5. PRIZE: There will be one (1) winner in this contest. The winner will be wed by John Hanson during Twin Cities Live at Bunker Hills Regional Park on Friday, August 3, 2012, at 3:00 p.m. The winning couple must be willing to let Twin Cities Live cameras and staff accompany them to various activities in July as they made decisions regarding the wedding. The prize will consist of the following:

a. Wedding Gown for the Bride: The Wedding Shoppe in St. Paul will provide a wedding dress and veil for the bride up to a $1,000 value; limited to gowns which can be made available and altered in time for the August 3, 2012, wedding date. All costs incurred over the stated value of the prize will be the responsibility of the bride and/or winning couple. The bride must choose three (3) bridal gowns by Friday, June 29, 2012, and then from 3:00 p.m. on Monday, July 2, 2012, through 11:59:59 p.m. on Friday, July 6, 2012, viewers can go to www.twincitieslive.com to vote on the dress he/she thinks the bride should wear. The bride agrees to wear the dress that receives the most votes. A viewer may only vote once for the dress of his/her choice.

b. Bridesmaids Dresses: The Wedding Shoppe in St. Paul will provide up to five (5) bridesmaids dresses up to a total value of $1,250; limited to dresses which can be made available and altered in time for the August 3, 2012, wedding date. All costs incurred over the stated value of the prize will be the responsibility of the bridesmaid(s) and/or winning couple.

c. Tuxedos for the Groom and Groomsmen: The Wedding Shoppe will provide up to five (5) tuxedo rentals up to a $200 value each ($1,000 total). All costs incurred over the stated value of the prize will be the responsibility of the groom and/or groomsmen. All tuxedos must be returned to the Wedding Shoppe in appropriate condition (in accordance with standard store rental regulations) or winner may incur fees.

d. Floral: Liesl B. Floral will provide the following flowers for the wedding: Bridal bouquet (up to a $700 value); ten (10) tabletop floral arrangements (up to a $400 value), six (6) additional floral arrangements, which can be used for bridesmaid(s) bouquets and/or for arrangements to decorate the ceremony/reception space (up to a $400 value) and up to five (5) boutonnieres (up to a value of $100). All costs incurred over the stated value of the prize will be the responsibility of the winning couple. The winning couple must choose three (3) different flower themes by Friday, July 13, 2012, and then from 3:00 p.m. on Monday, July 16, 2012, through 11:59:59 p.m. on Friday, July 20, 2012, viewers can go to www.twincitieslive.com to vote on the floral theme he/she thinks the couple should have at their wedding. The winning couple agree to use the floral theme that receives the most votes. A viewer may only vote once for the floral theme of his/her choice.

e. Photography: Engagement and wedding photo session from Stella Luna Photography, which will include one all day wedding shoot and one engagement session: includes main photographer and an assistant shooter, high resolution CD of photographer-approved shots. Value: $4,200. All costs incurred over the stated value of the prize will be the responsibility of the winning couple.

f. Wedding Bands: Continental Diamonds will provide his and her wedding bands to be chosen by the winning couple, up to $1,500 in combined value; any costs incurred above $1,500 will be the responsibility of the winning couple. Rings must be chosen by July 30, 2012.

g. Ceremony/Reception: The outdoor ceremony and reception will be held at Bunker Hills Regional Park and will include the following: use of picnic pavilion for reception (Value: $120); parking for up to 100 cars (Value: $500); and space for the bride and groom to get ready (Value: $240).

h. Catering: The Lookout Catering will provide catering services for up to 100 guests (up to $5,000 value) and table linens/serving utensils for up to 100 guests (up to $1,000 value). All costs incurred over the stated value of the prize will be the responsibility of the winning couple. The winning couple must choose three menus by Friday, July 6, 2012, and then from 3:00 p.m. on Monday, July 9, 2012, through 11:59:59 p.m. on Friday, July 13, 2012, viewers can go to www.twincitieslive.com to vote for the menu he/she thinks should be served at the wedding. The wining couple agrees to have the menu served that receives the most votes. A viewer may only vote once for the menu of his/her choice.

i. Music: Adagio Djay Entertainment will provide DJ services and all necessary equipment from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, August 3, 2012. All costs incurred over the stated value of the prize will be the responsibility of the winning couple.

j. Wedding Cake: Lunds/Byerly's will provide the wedding cake (up to a $1,200 value). All costs incurred over the stated value of the prize will be the responsibility of the winning couple. The winning couple must choose three (3) cakes by Friday, July 20, 2012, and then from 3:00 p.m. on Monday, July 23, 2012, through 11:59:59 p.m. on Friday, July 17, 2012, viewers can go to www.twincitieslive.com to vote on the cake he/she thinks the couple should have for their wedding. The winning couple agrees to have the cake that receives the most votes. A viewer may only vote once for the cake of his/her choice.

k. Hair and Makeup: New Reflections Spa and Salon will provide hair and make-up services on the day of the wedding for the bride and up to five (5) bridesmaids. Value: $845. The bride will need to be available on Tuesday, July 21, 2012, from 9:15 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. to try out three different hairstyles. The bride and her bridesmaids will need to be available starting at 9:15 a.m. on Friday, August 3, 2012, for hair and make-up. All costs incurred over the stated value of the prize will be the responsibility of the bride, bridesmaid(s) and/or the winning couple.

l. Suite Romance Package. Northland Inn will provide the bride and groom with a Suite Romance Package for Friday, August 3, 2012, which consists of one night accommodations in one of their presidential suites, champagne, chocolate dipped strawberries and breakfast for two the next day. Value: $319.

The prizes are not transferable or exchangeable, nor can they be exchanged for cash or credit. A qualified winner must also meet the eligibility requirements as set forth in Paragraph 6 of these rules. All income taxes and other taxes are the responsibility of the winner. A 1099 form will be submitted to all appropriate taxing authorities. The prize must be accepted in its entirety, and cannot be divided or accepted in part. This contest is subject to all applicable policies, practices and procedures of each individual sponsor.

6. ELIGIBILITY: Couples must be 18 years or older to be eligible to participate in this contest. Employees of Hubbard Broadcasting, Inc., KSTP-TV, LLC, Wedding Shoppe, Liesl B. Floral, Stella Luna Photography, Continental Diamonds, Bunker Hills Regional Park, The Lookout Catering, Lunds/Byerly's, New Reflections Spa & Salon, Adagio Djay Entertainment and Northland Inn, including their subsidiaries, affiliates, parent or related companies, and their immediate families, are not eligible to enter. Open to couples getting married only, does not pertain to renewal of vows.

7. CONTEST DEADLINE. All entries must be received by Twin Cities Live no later than 11:59:59 p.m. on Monday, June 18, 2012. KSTP-TV is not responsible for problems sending the entry or photo, technical or atmospheric conditions that disrupt the completion of the web site entry, or any other problems which might or might not result from this contest.

8. RELEASE; CONSENT TO USE LIKENESS, VOICE AND ADDRESS: The winner must execute an affidavit of eligibility. The winner (a) agrees to release and indemnify Hubbard Broadcasting, Inc., KSTP-TV, LLC, Wedding Shoppe, Liesl B. Floral, Stella Luna Photography, Continental Diamonds, Bunker Hills Regional Park, The Lookout Catering, Lunds/Byerly's, New Reflections Spa & Salon, Adagio Djay Entertainment and Northland Inn (including their subsidiaries, affiliates, parent or related companies) from and against any and all liability, claims, damages and actions arising directly or indirectly out of or sustained in connection with the awarding, acceptance or use of the prize(s), and (b) consents to the use by KSTP-TV for promotional purposes only of his and her likeness and/or voice, address (city and state) and his or her contest entry (which may be posted on the KSTP-TV website and/or read on the air) without any additional compensation. By accepting the prize, the winning couple agrees to be bound by these official rules, including the above release. By entering this contest, each entrant consents to the use of his/her entry on the Twin Cities Live website and/or to be read on the air).

9. WINNER LIST: For the name of the winner, send a separate self-addressed, stamped envelope before July 31, 2012, to Winners List, Twin Cities - Whirlwind Wedding, 3415 University Avenue, St. Paul, Minnesota 55114.

10. MISCELLANEOUS:
Decisions of KSTP-TV concerning any and all matters with respect to this contest shall be final. KSTP-TV reserves the right to change these rules, as well as the terms and conditions of this contest, without notice. KSTP-TV reserves the right to change the prize values at any time, or to substitute prizes of comparable value. Contest void where prohibited or otherwise restricted by law. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable. KSTP-TV is not responsible for printing errors in the contest materials or these official rules. If the sponsors determine in their sole discretion that the integrity or fairness of this contest has been corrupted in any manner, the sponsors reserve the right to terminate the contest and to select a winner from among entries legitimately received prior to termination.
