TWIN CITIES LIVE - FACEBOOK FAN OF THE DAY SWEEPSTAKES
OFFICIAL RULES
1.HOW TO ENTER: NO PURCHASE NECESSARY.
Eligible individuals may enter the Sweepstakes by “liking” Twin Cities Live on Facebook. If you have not already “liked” Twin Cities Live on Facebook, log on to www.twincities.com, click on “Facebook” tile on the main page, “like” Twin Cities Live and complete the entry form, which includes your name, address, email address and daytime telephone number. If you already “like” Twin Cities Live on Facebook, log on to www.twincities.com, click on the “contests” tab on the left side of the page, and complete the entry form, which includes your name, address, email address and daytime telephone number. Entries will be accepted via this method of entry from January 26, 2012, through 11:59:59 p.m. on December 31, 2012. KSTP-TV is not responsible for problems accessing the Twin Cities Live website and/or the Facebook website, or technical or atmospheric conditions that disrupt the completion of the entry, or any other problems which might or might not result from this contest.
Limit, one entry per person; any person submitting more than one entry may be disqualified. Limit, a listener may only be the “Facebook Fan of the Day” once during the term of this contest.
2.HOW TO WIN: On each day during the contest (starting January 26, 2012, through an as yet undetermined date) an entrant’s name will be randomly drawn from all eligible entries received and the winner will be contacted by a Twin Cities Live staff member via email to obtain more information from the winner (i.e., how the winner would like his/name read on the show, how to correctly pronounce his/her name, obtain a picture of the winner, etc.). Once the information has been obtained from each winner, he/she will become Twin Cities Live’s Facebook Fan of the Day and his/her name will be announced and his/her picture shown on a subsequent day on Twin Cities Live.
3.CLAIMING A PRIZE: Each prize will be mailed to the winner’s home address. KSTP-TV is not responsible for problems resulting from the mailing of the prize to the winners’ home address.
4.PRIZES: Each “Fan of the Day” will receive a Twin Cities Live t-shirt; value of each prize is: $5.
A qualified winner must also meet the eligibility requirements as set forth in Paragraph 5 of these rules. The winners are responsible for all applicable income taxes. All federal, state and local laws apply. A 1099 form may be submitted to all appropriate taxing authorities.
Odds of winning are dependent on the number of eligible entries received.
5.ELIGIBILITY: Individuals must be 18 years or older and residents of Minnesota or Wisconsin to be eligible to win. Employees of Hubbard Broadcasting, Inc. and KSTP-TV, LLC, including their subsidiaries, affiliates, parent or related companies, and their immediate families, are not eligible to enter. Any one participating in this contest or claiming a prize in this contest in violation of these rules will be disqualified from participating in KSTP-TV contests for a period of one year.
Twin Cities Live may discontinue the contest at any time without notice. Twin Cities Live may also at any time and without notice change the prizes to be awarded in this contest.
6.RELEASE; CONSENT TO USE LIKENESS, VOICE AND ADDRESS: Winners must execute an affidavit of eligibility. Each winner (a) agrees to release Hubbard Broadcasting, Inc. and KSTP-TV, LLC (including their subsidiaries, affiliates, parent or related companies) from any and all liability, claims, damages and actions arising directly or indirectly out of or sustained in connection with the awarding or acceptance of the prize(s), and (b) consents to the use by KSTP-TV for promotional purposes only, of his or her likeness, voice (including the posting of the winner’s photograph on Twin Cities Live) and/or address (city/state) without any additional compensation. By participating in this contest, each participant agrees to the application of these official rules.
7.WINNER LIST: For a list of winners (names only), send a self-addressed, stamped envelope before June 30, 2012, to Winners List, Facebook Fan of the Day, Twin Cities Live, 3415 University Avenue, St. Paul, Minnesota 55114.
8.MISCELLANEOUS:
Decisions of KSTP-TV concerning any and all matters with respect to this contest shall be final. Contest void where prohibited or otherwise restricted by law. KSTP-TV reserves the right to change the prize values at any time. KSTP-TV is not responsible for printing errors in the contest materials or these rules. This contest is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Facebook.
