Title:
Rest Your Thumbs, Save A Life
Description:
The focus of this video is to really stress the FACT that if you are looking at your phone texting, that really is the only thing that you can see. There really is no way someone can be looking at a screen and the road at the same time. That was the reasoning behind why the windshield of the car becomes the screen of a cell phone and blocking all view of the road. The music in this ad was specifically recorded for this contest with my own equipment. I believe very strongly that texting and driving, as well as regular phone use, is a major safety hazard for everyone on the road. This is especially true for teenagers, and that teens need to be much more aware of their actions.

I always tell my two teenage daughters not to text while they are driving. I made them watch this video to show the consequences of texting while driving. Ever since I am certain that they have stopped their distracted driving.

Thanks Yvonne! Yeah it's too bad there were voting problems the first few days, hope they fix it all out! And thank you Brad! I'm glad you noticed the extra conceptual parts I added to make the viewer think hard about what texting while driving really means!

I absolutely LOVE how you used a song to help make your point! The windshield being a cell phone screen was a good concept and effect as well. Great job!
